We know, it sounds
very corny to say "the prices
are too cheap", but
believe or nor not, lots of
people do say our garden
centre trolleys seem too cheap!
Why? We are an
actual manufacturer of these
Garden Centre Trolleys. We produce a
range of Trolleys and mobile
Steps that are
completely made here in
Kettering. As a company, we
took the decision to
market these direct to
individual Garden Centres
and end users, primarily through
the internet, and as such
have priced accordingly. We
do not really use
distributors or agents for
our Garden Centre
trolleys which is
the main price differential
for the trolleys. So whether
your the largest retail
chain or a small
independent, the cost is the
same.
Also, please be aware of
cheap imported Garden Centre
Trolleys - Yes, we would say
that wouldn't we!!! Of
course you must shop around,
but if its bolted together,
it will probably fall apart
very quickly. Please, just
be aware as you search the
net.
We manufacture the
trolley subframes using
an automated robot welding
station giving us good
economies of scale. The
trolleys
are produced in bulk and
held in stock.
We also price the garden
centre trolleys without delivery. We
use a local haulier and we
are charged by pallet space
to various zones around the
country. We get 4 trolleys
to a pallet. The garden
centre trolleys
are rigid welded structures
and as such are bulky items
meaning the usual pallet
networks will not carry
them. It is a cost out of
our control and is passed on
to the customer at cost.
